The focus and difficulty of the work in the border areas is at the border,where the problems are concentrated and there are the most significant potentials.From December 14 to 15,2023,during his inspection in Guangxi,Chinese President Xi Jinping stressed that Guangxi should make consolidating the sense of community for the Chinese nation the main line of work in the autonomous region,and should implement the sustained rooting and forging of the sense of community for the Chinese nation into all work in the economy,education,employment,community building,culture and cadre building.In the new era,Guangxi must fully,accurately and comprehensively implement the new development concept.Based on its own resource endowment and industrial foundation,with the main line of forging the sense of community for the Chinese nation,with high-quality development as the primary task,with accelerated integration into the new development pattern as the strategic task,and with the promotion of the various ethnic groups towards modernization as the important task,efforts have been made to improve the balance,coordination and inclusiveness of development,to promote the equalization of basic public services and common prosperity,to accelerate the mending of shortcomings in infrastructure,public services and livelihood protection,to enable border people of all ethnic groups to share the fruits of reform and development,and to demonstrate a new commitment to consolidating and developing ethnic unity,social stability and tranquillity on the borders.
