Research on Xi Jinping's Principles and Methods of Ethnic Work
The principles and methods of ethnic work are an essential component of Xi Jinping's thought on ethnic work.The paper elaborates Xi Jinping's fundamental principles for ethnic work in three aspects:the need to strengthen the Party's leadership of ethnic work,the need to fully grasp the national conditions of China's unified multi-ethnic state,and the need to effectively help ethnic minorities and ethnic regions accelerate their de-velopment.Besides,it also illustrates some important methods for ethnic work from three perspectives:importance of heart-to-heart communication,the need to see things but also to see people,and importance of not adopting"closed-door"attitude towards the migrant ethnic minority population.Thus,it is proposed that studying and understanding Xi Jinping's principles and methods of ethnic work is conducive to strengthening the confidence in the road of solving ethnic problems with Chinese characteristics,promoting the high-quality development of ethnic work,and implementing the main line of ethnic work in the new era.
