Variation in Leaves and Fruit Characteristics for Lycium Barbarum,Lycium Ruthenicum and Their Hybrid Zone
This study used Lycium barbarum,Lycium ruthenicum, and their hybrids as materials to analyze the variation in individual, leaf, and fruit traits of the three planted species. The results indicated that the plant height,east-west crown width, leaf length, leaf width, fruit longitudinal diameter, and fruit stem length of L.barbarum were the highest or biggest, and their average coefficient of variation in plant type, leaf phenotype, and fruit type traits were the lowest.Secondly, there were individuals in the hybrids whose plant height, crown width, leaf width, leaf shape index, fruit longitudinal diameter, fruit shape index, and fruit stem length were all between L.ruthenicum and L.barbarum, and their average coefficient of variation for plant type and leaf pheno-type traits were the highest.
