Study on Allelopathic and Herbicidal Effect of Water Extracts from Different Parts of Secale Cereale L.
In order to explore the allelopathy of forage crop black forage wheat,in this experiment, black forage wheat was used as donor plant, authigenic rapeseed and wheat were used as receptor plants. The effects of different parts(rhizosphere soil, root, straw, ear)and different concentrations(100 mg/mL,50 mg/mL,35 mg/mL,25 mg/mL)of black forage wheat on the germination rate, bud length, root length, fresh weight and dry weight of receptor plants were determined by petri dish bioassay method, and the allelopathic index was analyzed and evaluated. The results showed that the aqueous extract of black forage wheat had allelopathic inhibitory effects on the seed germination and seedling growth of weedy autochthonous rape, with straw and spike having the most significant inhibitory effects. The allelopathic inhibitory effect enhanced with the in-crease of mass concentration. When the mass concentration was 100 mg/mL,the allelopathic inhibitory effect was the strongest. However, the water extract of black forage wheat did not show significant effect on the germi-nation and growth of wheat seeds,so it would not affect the safe growth of wheat.
