Effects of Different Adversity Stresses on Leaf Physiological Characteristics of Jerusalem Artichoke Seedlings
In order to study the effects of different stress on leaf physiological characteristics of Jerusalem artichoke(JA)seedlings, and to explore the changes of physiological characteristics during the growth of JA seedlings, the tubers of Qingyu No.1 JA seedlings were treated with 25%PEG-6000 simulated drought stress and 200 mmol/L NaCl solution simulated salt stress, respectively, and water treatment as the control. The phys-iological indexes in the leaves of JA seedlings were measured at 24 h,48 h and 72 h after treatment. The re-sults showed that the contents of reduced glutamylglycophatide(GSH),ascorbic acid(AsA)and soluble sug-ar(SS)in leaves of JA under drought and salt stress were significantly lower than those of control. The content of soluble protein(SP)in experimental groups was higher than that in control group. The activities of ascor-bate peroxidase(APX),catalase(CAT),malondialdehyde(MDA)and hydrogen peroxide(H2O2)were firstly increased and then decreased. The results of this study provide a reference for subsequent stress-resist-ant breeding of Jerusalem artichoke.
