Parasitic natural enemy insects play an important role in the natural control of pests.This paper reviews the progress of the conservation and application of parasitic natural enemy insects-parasitoids from the aspects of main species of parasitoids,parasitism modes and characteristics,artificial propagation tech-niques,and the current status of parasitoid application,with a view to providing a reference basis for parasit-oids and their application in biological control techniques and other aspects.
