Spatiotemporal Variation of Particle Size Characteristics of Surface Aeolian Sediments in Alpine Desert
In this paper,we plan to study the dunes with different recovery years of sand land in the east of sand land, and discuss the spatial and temporal change law of sand flow under the influence of sand control meas-ures,by analyzing the particle size distribution characteristics of wind sand sediments in different sand dune land-forms.The results showed that:(1)there were more coarse-grained substances in the surface sediments of mobile sand dunes, while the surface sediments of naturally fixed sand dunes and seabuckthorn sand dunes planted in dif-ferent years were mainly fine sand.(2)The windward slope of mobile sand dunes had the highest content of fine particles, while the vegetation covered sand dunes had a higher content of fine particles in the windward slope and top sand sediment than in the windward slope, which was closely related to the wind conditions in this area.(3)With the improvement of vegetation conditions in sand dunes, the average particle size continued to decrease; The sorting coefficient gradually increased; The skewness gradually approached the positive skewness; The peak shape of sand dunes belonged to the moderate peak shape; The fractal dimension changed irregularly.Overall, the longer the restoration period of sand dunes, the greater the impact on sediment particle size.
