Preliminary Report on Insect Diversity Survey in Xiangshan Nature Reserve,Lixian County,Gansu Province
In order to investigate the species and distribution of insects in Xiangshan Nature Reserve in Lixian County,a preliminary survey of insect resources in the reserve was conducted in July 2024.Insect field investigations were conducted using methods such as line sampling,net fishing,search,and light trapping,and insect species identification was carried out through the use of visual aids and maps.The survey results indicated that a total of 121 species of insects belonging to 51 families and 11 orders were collected and sur-veyed in the protected area.Among them,Lepidoptera had the most species,followed by Hemiptera in sec-ond place and Coleoptera in third place,while other orders had fewer species.
