Functional complementarity, spatial reconstruction and collaborative governance of the integration of urban and rural development in ethnic areas
The functional orientation and structural model of rural areas in ethnic regions determine the foundation and success of rural modernization. The development of urban-rural integration should deeply understand the functional essence of rural areas in ethnic regions, learn lessons from the impact and dam-age on rural areas under the efficiency-driven model, fully recognize the significance of functional comple-mentarity of urban-rural integration for high-quality development in ethnic regions, and actively grasp the spatial reconfiguration trend of equal integration and integration development of urban-rural areas. In the context of rapid modernization,it faces the problems of dysfunctional urban-rural functions, unbalanced spatial layout, and failed collaborative governance in ethnic regions.Based on the value of spatial justice,we will reshape the urban-rural spatial relations in ethnic regions with two-way enabling power, highlight their respective values, promote functional complementarity, and build a spatial structure for the integra-tion of urban and rural development through inclusive sharing, reasonable and effective spatial planning, and good governance of space.
