Digital economy and upgrading of employment structure in manufacturing industry
As the foundation of people's livelihood,employment is the key to the stable operation of the economy.The rapid development of digital economy promotes the deep integration of digital economy and real economy,which makes the efficiency of labor resource allocation continuously optimized and has a profound impact on the employment structure of manufacturing industry.Based on the 2021 data from 2013 to 2021,this paper empirically examines the impact of the digital economy on the employment struc-ture of the manufacturing sector.The findings are as follows:firstly,the digital economy significantly promotes the optimization of the employment structure of the manufacturing industry,and mainly pro-motes the optimization of the employment structure of the manufacturing industry in the eastern part of our country.Secondly,the digital economy has a heterogeneous impact on the employment of manufactur-ing industry,and the digital industrialization significantly promotes the employment scale of technology-intensive industries.Thirdly,the digital economy can promote the optimization of employment structure of manufacturing industry through industrial structure upgrading and enterprise technological innovation.Therefore,in order to give full play to the role of digital economy in optimizing the employment structure of manufacturing industry,we should speed up the digital transformation of enterprises and promote the high-quality development of manufacturing industry.
