ABSTRACT:Innovation is the primary driving force for development,and green technology innovation can drive the country's economy towards circular sustainability,thereby improving economic quality.Based on the spe-cial strategic positioning of the Huaihe River ecological economic belt,this article takes it as the research object to analyze the impact of digital economy on green technology innovation in the region.Research has found that the development of digital economy can significantly promote the improvement of green technology innovation level in the Huaihe River ecological economic belt,and has significant spatial spillover effects.At the same time,there are significant regional differences in the promotion of green technology innovation level by the development of digital economy in the Huaihe River ecological economic belt.The promotion effect on the central and western inland rise areas of the Huaihe River ecological economic belt is significantly better than that of the eastern Haijiang River Lake linkage zone and the northern Huaihai economic zone.In addition,the digital economy and green technology innovation level in the eastern Hai-jiang River Lake linkage zone is relatively high,and the spillover effect on the surrounding areas is greater than that in the central region.Finally,based on the research findings,policy recommendations are pro-posed from the perspective of promoting the development of digital economy in the Huaihe River ecological economic belt,in order to enhance the region's green technology innovation capabilities.
