New Muslim education came into being during the end of Qing dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China,last as long as first half of twentieth century.It is different from the Muslim education before Qing dynasty and the one after the Liberation for its own distinct characters： taking science and literacy knowledge as main content,having absorbed advanced education idea and teaching theory and method,arranging a few religious classes in curriculum.New Muslim education is a education form transiting from religious education to ordinary popular education.
