The citizenship education plays the foundational role in the moral education of Chinese institutions. We should empha- size that great important role through the three aspects： firstly, the university students who will enter totally their forthcoming social lives need to be the passable citizen, which is the direct aim of the moral education of Chinese institutions ： secondly, the advantage of the citizenship education is the interact discussion method in class, which can alleviate the contradict attitude of the students towards the preach in the moral education： the thirdly, the citizenship education make the students independent thinking get practices, this kind of teaching put stress on the intellectual development combination with moral education, which is favorable to develop the healthy mentality for the university students.
