Thirty-six sheep that tested positive for Chlamydia antibodies and antigens were divided into three groups:Group A,Group B and Group C.Twelve sheep in each group,conducting experimental investigation on drug therapy.GroupA and Group B was treated with Tetracycline hydrochloride and Tiamulin respectively,while Group C was the control group and did not receive any treatment.After 16 days of therapeutic trial,Real-time flu-orescence quantitative PCR was used to detect vaginal and eye swab samples from the three groups of sheep.The results showed that:Those sheep in group A and B were negative,sheep in group C were still positive,and indica-ted that the two drugs mentioned above are effective in treating sheep chlamydiosis.
