To evaluate the demonstration application effect of efficient and low residue parasitic disease preven-tion and control technology on the main parasitic diseases of yaks,Eprinomectin injection was used at a dose of 0.2 mg/kg of body weight. The prevention and control effect were checked and the impact on yak weight and sur-vival rate were assessed.Result:At 7,14,35,and 151 day after treatment, the negative conversion rates of nema-tode eggs in the digestive tract of yaks were 100.0%,100.0%,100.0%,and 80.0%,respectively,and the re-duction rates were 100.0%,100.0%,100.0%,and 91.5%,respectively.At 7,14,35,and 151 day after treatment, the conversion rates of Protostrongylidae larvae to negative were 83.3%,100.0%,100.0%,and 80.0%,respectively,and the reduction rates were 93.7%,100.0%,100.0%,and 87.2%,respectively.On the 7th,14th,35th,and 151st day after treatment, the killing rate of Linognathus vituli on yaks reached 100%.The dose of 0.2 mg/kg of Eprinomectin injection used in demonstration was safe for yak.Compared to the control group without treatment, the demonstration group increased the average weight 8.26±2.13 kg of 2-year-old yak,and the survival rate of young yaks increased by 2.83%.The results indicate that the prevention and control technology is more efficient, safe, and low residue for the main parasitic diseases in yaks, with significant benefits.
