Screening Test of Dompound Premix Formula for Hy-Line Brown Hens During Laying Period in Plateau Area
In order to obtain the optimal compound premix formula for Hy-Line Brown hens in plateau area,10 000 Hy-Line Brown hens were randomly divided into 4 groups with 2 500 hens in each group.Experimental groups A,B and C were fed low,medium and high nutrient level premix,respectively,while control group D was fed commercial feed.The egg production,laying rate,average egg weight and death rate of all groups aged 18 to 60 weeks were analyzed.The results showed that group A had the highest egg production,laying rate,average egg weight and survival rate.Group C was superior to group D and group B in egg production,average egg weight and cumulative mortality.Group B only had higher egg production rate,and the cumulative death rate ranked second.The compound premix formula of group A was the best formula in the non-antibiotic culture of Hy-Line Brown hens.
