Effects of Land-use Change on Vegetation Cover in Qinghai Province From 2000 to 2020
The land use pattern in Qinghai Province has changed greatly in the past two decades,but there are few studies on the change of land use pattern and its impact on vegetation cover.To study the influence of land use change on vegetation cover in Qinghai Province,this paper analyzes the change of different land use patterns and their impact on vegetation cover by combining land use data with normalized vegetation index(NDVI).The results show that the NDVI of Qinghai Province shows an increasing trend from 2000 to 2020(0.030).Where the land use pattern has not changed,the vegetation cover of farmland has increased the most.In the area where land use pattern has changed,the vegetation cover of unused land converted to farmland has increased the most,and the ar-ea of unused land into grassland is the largest,so the conversion of unused land into other land use patterns is the main contributor to the increase of vegetation cover.
