Detection and Analysis of Main Animal Diseases in Tibetan Sheep High-efficiency Breeding Farms in Some Areas of Qinghai Province
In order to preliminarily investigate the infection and prevalence of main diseases of Tibetan sheep in high-efficiency breeding environment in some areas of Qinghai Province, this research adopted enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)with double antibody sandwich method.Five major animal diseases, such as Sheep contagious pleuropneumonia,Bluetongue,Contagious ecthyma,Chlamydiosis,Hydatid disease, were detected by ELISA in 277 serum samples from Tibetan sheep farms in 6 areas of Qinghai Province. The results showed that the positive rates of five diseases were 4.7%(13/277),6.5%(18/277),2.5%(7/277),7.6%(21/277),6.9%(19/277),respectively.Dulan county had the highest positive rate of Sheep contagious pleuropneumonia(14.3%,2/14).The highestpositive rate of Bluetongue was18.2%(2/11)in Guide county. The positive rate of Contagious ecthyma was the highest in Gonghe county(9.7%,7/72).The highestpositive rate of Chlamydiosis was 19.4%(14/72)in Gonghe county.Dulan county had the highest positive rate of Hydatid disease(14.3%,2/14).None of the five diseases were detected in Ledu district and Huangyuan county. The results can provide scientific basis for animal disease prevention and control decision-making,disease purification and the construc-tion of unregulated animal epidemic areas in local Tibetan sheep high-efficiency breeding farms.
