The Effects of Pleurotus Ostreatus Fungus Bran Partially Replacing Whole-plant Silage Corn on Growth Performance、Apparent Digestibility and Slaughter Performance of Meat Goats in Fattening Period
In order to provide reference for expanding forage sources and improving the utilization rate of silage corn stalks, this experiment studied the effects of Pleurotus ostreatus fungus chaff partially replacing whole-plant silage corn on growth performance, apparent digestibility and slaughter performance of meat goats in fattening peri-od.Sixty healthy Green goats with similar weight of(15.46±1.24)kg and 2 months old were selected, and the single-factor randomized grouping experiment design was adopted.According to different proportions of adding Pleurotus ostreatus fungus chaff instead of whole-plant silage corn, the experimental goats were divided into five groups, and the control group was fed with basic diet withno Pleurotus ostreatus chaff was added,5%group was fed with basal diet with 5%Pleurotus ostreatus chaff,10%group was fed with basal diet with 10%Pleurotus ostreatus chaff,15%group was fed with basal diet with 15%Pleurotus ostreatus chaff, and 20%group was fed with basal diet with 20%Pleurotus ostreatus chaff, with 12 animals in each group and 3 sheep in each replicate. The ad-vanced experiment period is 7 days, and the formal experiment period is 90 days. The results showed that the aver-age daily gain index of 20%group was significantly higher than that of control group and 50%group from 1 to 30 days(P<0.05).From 31 to 60 days,5%group was significantly higher than 15%and 20%groups(P<0.05).From 60 to 90 days, the 15%group and 20%group were significantly higher than those of the control groups,5%group and 10%group(P<0.05).From 1 to 90 days, the 15%group and 20%group were signifi-cantly higher than the control group and 5%group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in dry matter intake among each group, but there was an increasing trend. In terms of the index of feedto gain ratio, the 20%group was significantly lower than the control group and the 5%group from 1 to 30 days(P<0.05),and the 15%group and the 20%group were significantly higher than the 5%group from 31 to 60 days(P<0.05).From 1 to 90 days, the 20%group was significantly lower than the control group and 5%group(P<0.05).The ap-parent digestibility of dry matter, organic matter and crude protein in 20%group was higher than that in other groups and significantly higher than that in 5%group(P<0.05).The slaughter rate of 20%group was higher than other groups and significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05).To sum up,under the experi-mental conditions, adding Pleurotus ostreatus mushroom bran to the diet instead of silage corn stalk can improve the production performance, increase the apparent digestibility of nutrients and slaughter rate of meat goats in fattening period.Comprehensive analysis and comparison show that adding 20%Pleurotus ostreatus mushroom bran is the best and feasible.
