In this experiment,10 well-developed Chaidamu bulls aged from 2 to 2.5 years old were selected to collect semen and evaluate the semen quality.The results showed that the semen color of Qaidam cattle was milky white,misty and slightly odorous,the ejaculation volume was(5.28±1.95)mL,the sperm motility was(67%±6.45%),the sperm density was(12.21±5.21)×108 per milliliter,the sperm malformation rate was≦20%after thawing,and the colony number is 0.Through multiple comparative analysis,it was found that No.95 was an excellent bull,and there was a significant positive correlation between semen volume and semen density(P<0.05).No.95、88、91、96、97 and 98 cattle can also carry out the next stage of frozen semen production and preservation.
