Establishment of an ELISA Method Based on the SPFH-SG Protein of Sarcocystis Gigantea
Sarcocystosis is a zoonotic parasitic disease caused by parasitic protozoa Sarcocystis living in host cells, which seriously affects the healthy development of livestock and human food safety.Currently, there are rela-tively few studies on diagnostic methods for this disease, especially on prenatal diagnostic techniques. This study focuses on the SPFH-SG protein of Sarcocystis gigantea from the esophageal muscle of Tibetan sheep.Through gene cloning and protein expression,a specific and reproducible indirect ELISA method has been established,pro-viding a scientific basis and technical solution for the ante-mortem detection of sarcocystosis in Tibetan sheep.
