Analysis of Production Performance Measurement Data for Datong Yak
By measuring relevant indicators such as body size and weight of Datong yak,in-depth analysis of its production performance data is conducted to provide scientific basis for optimizing Datong yak breeding management.The results indicate that:The average birth weight of Datong yak is 15.75 kg,The average body height is 56.21 cm,the av-erage body length is 52.92 cm,the average chest circumference is 60.56 cm,and the average tube circumference is 8.68 cm;The average weight at 6 months of age is 73.67 kg,the average body height is 82.80 cm,the average body length is 86.58 cm,the average chest circumference is 109.83 cm,and the average tube circumference is 11.82 cm;The average weight at 12 months old is 86.15 kg,the average body height is 89.58 cm,the average body length is 96.45 cm,the average chest circumference is 113.64 cm,and the average tube circumference is 12.92 cm;The average weight at 18 months old is 107.91 kg,the average body height is 93.39 cm,the average body length is 102.05 cm,the average chest circumference is 122.36 cm,and the average tube circumference is 12.94 cm.It can be inferred that,the growth rate of various indicators of Datong yak is the fastest in the 0～6 month age stage,the growth rate of important meat pro-duction indicators such as weight and chest circumference is relatively high in the 12～18 month age group.
