Study on determination of fluorine content in reacted alumina by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry
The determination of fluorine content in reacted alumina by tablet pressing method is studied in this paper.The calibration standard samples are obtained by mixing and grinding metallurgical grade alumina with primary reagents of sodium fluoride.The sample preparation conditions of tablet pressing method are determined as follows:5 g sample,10 drops of absolute ethanol are added as grinding additive,which are grinded in vibration mill for 80 s,the measurement sample is prepared with boric acid as edge padding.The measurement range of this method is 0.090％～4.97％.The method is simple and rapid with satisfactory precision and accuracy.
