The green and deep energy-saving technology for aluminum electrolysis developed by SAMI is a complete set of technical systems formed in re-sponse to the national dual-carbon strategy and industry ladder electricity price,which starts from the essence of aluminum electrolytic process and focu-ses on three directions:MHD improvement,good thermal balance maintenance,as well as systematically saving energy and reducing consumption.It in-cludes magnetic field in-situ upgrade technology,networked self-balancing busbar technology,energy-saving & long-life cathode and lining technol-ogy,bilateral precise gas collection technology,supporting production operation and management technology.This technology system has been applied to more than 45 potlines,involving all domestic pot types from 180 to 600 kA,with the lowest DC power consumption reaching below 12 200 kWh/t-Al.The application of this technology helps to alleviate the pressure of energy conservation and carbon reduction of aluminum producers,while improving the safety and stability of electrolytic production.
