A practical measurement method for the most frequent value of current fluctuation in anode rod of the aluminum pot
The most frequent value of the anode current fluctuation in the aluminum pot reflects the fluctuation of the aluminum liquid. However, due to the variability of the anode current,it is difficult to obtain the maximum frequent value at one time.A large number of actual measurement results show that the anode current waveform can be divided into three categories, one is a waveform with a relatively obvious fluctuation period, the other is a random waveform without a fluctuation period, and the third type is a mixed waveform of the first two types of waveforms. The waveform with obvious period can easily obtain the most frequent value, while the other two types of waveforms can reflect some local anode problems. This paper uses an LH-80 handheld ammeter to conveniently obtain these three types of curve signals.By using the most frequent value of the signal obtained by discrete Fourier transform(DFT),the role of these three waveform signals in judging the stability of the aluminum pot was analyzed.
