Research and application of waste heat recovery and utilization routes from aluminum hydroxide baking
During alumina production through Bayer process,the energy consumption of aluminum hydroxide baking accounts for more than 30%of the comprehensive energy consumption,of which about 16%is carried away in the form of heat with the product and exhaust gas.This paper conducts thermal balance calculation and analysis on the energy consumption composition of aluminum hydroxide baking process,compares and studies the process route and heat exchange equipment of waste heat utilization from baking.The highly-efficient waste heat utilization schemes are identified and applied to the pro-duction process,with ideal energy-saving effect achieved as well.
