Deeply energy-saving transformation practice of a 330 kA aluminum potline
This paper introduces the energy-saving transformation practice of a 330 kA aluminum potline.By utilizing various technical measures such as improving the magnetic fluid stability,matching the"healthy long life"lining heat balance,improving the superstructure gas collection efficiency,intensi-fying the current density and upgrading the pot control system and so on,we aim to deeply explore the potential for energy-saving and efficiency improve-ment of the potline.After the transformation and recommissioning,combined with the optimization of the pot baking start-up and production process technical conditions,the current efficiency of the potline was increased by more than 2%,with the DC power consumption of aluminum liquid reduced from 13 182 to 12 501 kWh/t-Al.
