Calculation and analysis of rectifier's efficiency and energy-saving and efficiency-improving measures in the aluminum smelter
In this paper,a calculation method of rectifier's efficiency in the aluminum smelter is introduced.According to the calculation and analysis of the example,some energy-saving and efficiency-improving measures are proposed,such as improving the selection and configuration level of power sup-ply equipment and rectifiers,optimizing design plan,upgrading the busbar processing precision and so on,in an effort to reduce the comprehensive power consumption and production cost per unit product of aluminum smelters,as well as to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.In addition,aluminum is a typical high energy-consuming industry,most of which are located in the northwest energy-rich area.At the same time,these areas are also devel-oped areas for new energy such as photovoltaic and wind power,so the development of advanced and highly-efficient aluminum production system can ef-fectively absorb green power such as photovoltaic and wind power there,thus contributing to the rational allocation of new-type power resources.
