Study on mix proportion optimization of red mud-based geopolymer pervious concrete
In order to promote the recycling of solid waste and the low-carbon sustainable development of sponge city,in this paper, the red mud-based geopolymer pervious concrete(RMGPC)was prepared by red mud and slag as cementitious materials and water glass solution as activator. The influence law of alkali equivalent, red mud content and module of water glass on the compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, flexural strength, water permeability and continuous porosity of RMGPC were studied by orthogonal experiment.Optimize the design of the mix proportion. The results show that:①When the water-binder ratio is 0.32 and the designed porosity is 18%,4%alkali equivalent is the best. The change of red mud content has the most significant effect on the properties of RMGPC,and the change in module of water glass has little effect.②From the comprehensive balance analysis:The optimum ratio is 4%of alkali equivalent,40%of red mud content and 1.8 of module of water glass. The compressive strength, splitting tensile strength and flexural strength of RMGPC at 28 d can reach 32.1 MPa,1.99 MPa and 3.3 MPa,respectively. The permeability coefficient is 3.33 mm/s and the continuous porosity is 16.15%,the advantages of high strength and good water permeability can be provided as well.
