Application and research of time aware network technology in aluminum smelting industry
This paper summarizes the challenges faced by industrial Ethernet communication in the aluminum smelting industry and introduces the time aware network(TAN)technology that can solve these problems.The paper outlines the advantages of TAN technology and studies network convergence technologies based on the characteristics of TAN technology.It proposes methods for optimizing the plant-wide network architecture and workshop-level wireless communication in aluminum smelting plants(alumina refineries and aluminum smelters).The paper introduces typical application cases of TAN technology in the aluminum smelting industry,including wireless communication solutions for bauxite homogenization stockyards,overall communication solutions for aluminum potrooms,and communication solutions for PTMs.TAN technology can meet the high requirements of the aluminum smelting industry for network communication,improve communication stability and reliability,and provide strong support for the automation,informatization,and intelligence of the aluminum smelting industry.
