Application of Mindfulness Attention-Acceptance Nursing in Children with Bronchopneumonia
Objective:To explore the application effect of mindfulness attention-acceptance nursing in children with bronchopneumonia.Methods:A total of 90 children with bronchopneumonia admitted from February 1,2022 to December 31,2022 and 90 caregivers were se-lected and divided into the conventional group group and the observation group by the random number table method,with 45 children and 45 caregivers in each group.The conventional group was given conventional nursing,and the observation group was given mindfulness atten-tion-acceptance nursing.The improvement time of symptoms(fever,cough,shortness of breath,and lethargy)as well as caregiver stress by Caregiver Stress Inventory(CSI),mindfulness level by Mindful Attention Awareness Scale(MAAS),caregiver coping styles by Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire(MCMQ)and family disease management ability by Family Management Measure(FaMM)before and after in-tervention were compared between the two groups.Results:The improvement time fever,cough,shortness of breath,and lethargy was shorter in the observation group than those in the conventional group(P<0.01).After intervention,the scores of MAAS,MCMQ facing dimension and FaMM disease management ability dimension were higher in both groups(P<0.05),while the scores of CSI,MCMQ avoidance dimen-sion and yielding dimension and FaMM disease management difficulty dimension were lower than those before intervention(P<0.05),and were lower in the observation group than those in the conventionsl group(P<0.01,P<0.05).Conclusion:Mindfulness attention-accept-ance nursing can promote the recovery of symptoms in children with bronchopneumonia,relieve the psychological stress of caregivers,im-prove the mindfulness level of caregivers,guide caregivers to face the disease with a positive attitude,and enhance the disease manage-ment ability.
