Effect of WeChat-based Continuous Care Plan in Hemodialysis Patients
Objective:To explore the effect of the WeChat-based continuous care plan in hemodialysis patients.Methods:A total of 180 hemodialysis patients admitted to the Department of Nephrology from June 1,2019 to June 30,2022 were selected and divided into the con-trol group and the observation group of 90 cases each by the random number table method.The control group received routine care,and the observation group received continuous care plan based on WeChat.Comparison was made on the calcium and phosphorus metabolism,self-care ability before and after intervention by the Self-Care Ability Assessment Scale(ESCA),the incidence of complications,and nursing satisfaction between the two groups.Results:The total parathyroid hormone(iPTH),blood calcium,blood phosphorus and calcium-phos-phorus product levels were lower in The observation group than those in the control group(P<0.01).After intervention,the self-care con-cept,health knowledge level,self-care skills,self-care responsibility scores and total scores were higher in both groups than those before in-tervention(P<0.01),and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.01),the incidence of complica-tions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.01),and the nursing satisfaction was higher than that in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:Implementation of WeChat-based continuous care plan in hemodialysis patients can effectively im-prove their calcium and phosphorus metabolism,while enhance their self-care ability,reduce the incidence of complications,and improve nursing satisfaction.
