Impact of Conceptual Reconstruction Cognitive Care on Elderly Patients with Chronic Heart Failure
Objective:To explore the impact of conceptual reconstruction cognitive care on elderly patients with chronic heart failure. Methods:A total of 90 elderly patients with chronic heart failure treated from January 1,2019 to December 31,2022 were divided into groups using ball-drawing method, with odd numbers as the control group and even numbers as the observation group with 45 in each group. The control group received conventional care, while the observation group received conceptual reconstruction cognitive care in addi-tion to the conventional care.Different indicators of the two groups after intervention were compared, including cardiac function indexes by Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction(LVEF),6-minute walk test(6MWT),Self-care status(heart failure Self-care Index),psychological sta-tus by Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA),Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),disease knowledge awareness score, and Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire(LiHFe).Results:After intervention,LVEF in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),6MWT was longer than that in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores and total scores of heart failure Self-care indexes were higher in the observation group than those of control group(P<0.05),HAMA and HAMD scores was lower than those of control group(P<0.05),disease knowledge awareness score and LiHFe score were higher than those of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Conceptual reconstruction cognitive care can significantly enhance cardiac function and heart failure self-care ability of elderly patients with chronic heart failure, improve their psychological status, enhance their disease knowledge awareness and quality of life.
