Application of Chain Management under the Guidance of Risk Warning Concept in the Treatment of Acute Respiratory Failure Patients with Ventilators
Objective:To explore the application value of chain management guided by the risk warning concept in the treatment of acute respiratory failure(ARF)patients with ventilators. Methods:Sixty patients with ARF who received ventilator assisted treatment from March 1,2020 to March 1,2022 were selected and divided into study group and control group with 30 in each group by random two-color ball method.Patients in the control group were given routine nursing model intervention while patients in the study group were given chain man-agement under the guidance of risk warning concept on the basis of the control group.Clinical indicators(ventilator use time, respiratory function recovery time and hospital stay time),blood gas indicators arterial partial pressure of blood oxygen(PaO2),arterial partial pres-sure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2)and blood oxygen saturation(SaO2)and physiological function modified medical research council scores(mMRC),Acute physiology and chronic health evaluation Ⅱ scores(APACHE Ⅱ)and saint george's respiratory questionnaire(SGRQ)were compared between both groups, and the adverse events in both groups were also analyzed. Results:The ventilator use time, respiratory function recovery time, hospital stay time and incidence of adverse events in the study group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the PaO2 in both groups was significantly higher than that before intervention(P<0.05),and the PaO2 in study group was significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.05).The PaCO2 and scores of mMRC,APACHE Ⅱ and SGRQ in both groups after intervention were significantly lower than those before intervention(P<0.05),and the above indicators in study group were sig-nificantly lower compared with those in control group(P<0.05).After intervention,SaO2 in both groups was significantly higher than that before intervention(P<0.05),but there was no statistical significance between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Chain management under the guidance of concept of risk warning can effectively shorten the ventilator use time and hospitalization for patients, promote the re-covery of respiratory failure symptoms. It has a positive significance in improving the physiological function of patients, effectively reducing the incidence of adverse events.
