Effect of Problem-Solving Based Cognitive Behavioral Intervention on Post-ICU Syndrome in Patients Undergoing Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting Surgery
Objective:To explore the effect of problem-solving based cognitive behavioral interventions on post-ICU syndrome in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting surgery. Methods:A total of 186 patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting surgery ad-mitted from May 1,2019 to December 31,2022 were selected as the study objects, and they were randomly divided into control group and observation group with 93 patients in each group. The control group patients received routine care, while the observation group patients re-ceived cognitive behavioral interventions based on problem-solving on the basis of the control group. The incidence of ICU syndrome by confusion assessment method for the intensive care unit(CAM-ICU)and nursing satisfaction,ICU environmental stress by intensive care u-nit environmental stressors scale(ICUESS)and sleep quality by Chinese version of richards-campbell sleep questionnaire(RCSQ)before and after intervention were compared between the two groups. Results:The incidence of ICU syndrome in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction rate of patients in the observation group was higher than that in the con-trol group(P<0.05).After intervention,ICUESS scores in both groups were lower than those before intervention(P<0.05),and the obser-vation group has lower scores than the control group(P<0.01).After intervention,RCSQ scores and total scores in both groups were lower than before intervention(P<0.05),and the observation group has lower scores than the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:Cognitive be-havioral intervention based on problem-solving can reduce the incidence of post-ICU syndrome and the perception of environmental stres-sors in ICU,improve the sleep quality and nursing satisfaction of patients with coronary artery bypass grafting surgery.
