Application Effects of Extended Nursing under Medical Community Model on Patients with Advanced Prostate Cancer Pain
Objective:To investigate the effect of extended nursing under the medical community model on patients with advanced pros-tate cancer pain. Methods:A total of 100 patients with advanced prostate cancer pain admitted from August 1,2020 to January 1,2021 were selected, they were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method with 50 in each group. The control group received traditional discharge nursing, while the observation group received extended nursing under the medical commu-nity model. The difference in scores of quality of life questionnaire-C30(QLQ-C30),the numerical rating scale(NRS),effectively control-ling pain rate, medication compliance and Chinese version of Memorial Anxiety Scale for Prostate Cancer(MAX-PC)were compared be-tween the two groups at 1d before discharge and at 3 months after discharge. Results:At 3 months after discharge, the QLQ-C30 scores in both groups were higher than those at 1 d before discharge(P<0.05),and the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).At 3 months after discharge, there were significant differences in the NRS pain grades effectively controlling pain rate, medication compliance between the two groups(P<0.01).At 3 months after discharge, the scores of various dimensions of MAX-PC in observation group were significantly lower compared with those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Extended nursing under community model can improve the medication compliance and effectively control the pain, thus improving the quality of life and relieving the anxiety of patients with advanced prostate cancer pain.
