Objective:To observe the effects of quality control circle management based on the concept of special disease care on pa-tients with thyroid day time surgery.Methods:A total of 100 patients who were scheduled to undergo thyroid daytime surgery from Septem-ber 1 to October 31,2021 will be included in the control group and receive routine nursing care.Another 100 patients who plan to undergo thyroid daytime surgery from November 1 to December 31,2021 will be included in the experimental group,and quality control circle man-agement nursing based on the concept of special disease care was implemented.The perioperative fear[Fear Visual Analogue Scale(FAVS)],discharge readiness[Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scale(RHDS)],quality of discharge guidance[Quality of Discharge Teaching Scale(QDTS)],hospital stay and occurrence of complications were compared between the two groups of patients.Results:The FAVS score of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group at different times(P<0.05).The RHDS score before dis-charge,actual content obtained before discharge in QDTS,discharge guidance skills score,and total score of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the experimental group was lower than that in the con-trol group(P<0.05),and the hospital stay was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of quality con-trol circle management based on the concept of special disease care in patients with thyroid day surgery can help to eliminate the periopera-tive fear,and it has a positive significance on improving the discharge preparation and guidance quality,and it can effectively shorten pa-tient hospitalization time and reduce postoperative complications.
