Clinical Effects of IKAP Health Education Model on Patients with Myocardial Infarction Undergoing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention Treatment
Objective:To investigate the effect of IKAP health education model on patients with myocardial infarction after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods:A total of 262 patients with PCI of myocardial infarction treated from May 1 to December 31,2021 were selected and divided into the study group(n=131)and the control group(n=131)by random number table method. The control group was given routine health education, and the study group was given IKAP health education model. The two groups were treated until discharge and followed up for 6 months.Cardiac function indexes by including left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-diastolic volume index(LVEDVI),left ventricular end-systolic volume index(LVESVI),self-management ability by Coronary Heart Disease Self-Management Scale(CSMS),and health behavior by Health Promotion Lifestyle Scale Ⅱ(HPLP Ⅱ)and cardiovascular adverse events were compared between the two groups before and after intervention. Results:After intervention,LVEF,LVESVI and LVEDVI inde-xes in both groups were better than those before intervention(P<0.05),and the study group was better than the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,CSMS scores in both groups were higher than those before intervention(P<0.05),and the management of undesirable habits, treatment compliance, disease knowledge acquisition, emotional cognition and general life management of CSMS in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.01).After intervention,HPLP Ⅱ scores in both groups were higher than those before in-tervention(P<0.05),and the scores of study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05,P<0.01).The incidence of cardio-vascular adverse events in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Applying the IKAP health edu-cation model to PCI patients with myocardial infarction can improve heart function, enhance patient self-management ability, correct un-healthy lifestyle, and reduce the incidence of cardiovascular adverse events.
