Effect of Health Education Based on Behavior Transition Stage Patterns on the Prognosis of Patients with Atrial Fibrillation Complicated with Heart Failure
Objective:To explore the effect of health education based on behavior transition stage patterns on the prognosis of patients with atrial fibrillation complicated with heart failure.Method:Seventy-five patients with atrial fibrillation complicated with heart failure ad-mitted to the hospital from October 2020 to June 2022 were selected as the study subjects, and they were divided into observation group with 38 cases and control group with 37 cases by the random number table method. The control group received routine health education, while the observation group received health education based on a behavior transition stage model. The health literacy,self-management abil-ity using the Self-Care of Heart Failure Index(SCHFI),coping strategies using the Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire(MCMQ),exercise endurance using the 6-minute walking test(6MWT),and prognosis were compare between two groups of patients. Results:After interven-tion,the health literacy,SCHFI,and 6MWT scores of both groups were higher than those before intervention(P<0.05),and the observation group has higher scores than the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the face dimension scores of the two groups of MCMQ scores were higher than those before intervention(P<0.05),while the avoidance and surrender scores were lower than those before intervention(P<0.05),and the observation group was better than the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse events in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Applying health education based on behavior transition stage patterns to patients with atrial fibrillation and heart failure can enhance health literacy,self-management ability, and exercise endurance, improve coping strategies, and reduce the occurrence of adverse events.
