Application of Acupoint Application Combined with Pulmonary Rehabilitation on Airway Clearance in Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmona-ry Disease
Objective:To explore the application effect of acupoint application combined with pulmonary rehabilitation on airway clear-ance in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods:120 COPD patients admitted from July 1,2022 to April 30,2023 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into intervention group and control group,with 60 cases in each group.The control group was given pulmonary rehabilitation sputum nursing,while the intervention group was given acupoint application combined with pulmonary rehabilitation.The cough and sputum output,Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Assessment Test(CAT),6-minute walking distance test and Borg score,and lung function index levels were compared between two groups.Results:After intervention,the intervention group showed better improvement in sputum output,sputum viscosity,and sputum color compared to the control group(P<0.01).After in-tervention,the total CAT score,6-minute walking distance test,and Borg score of the intervention group were all better than those of the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the levels of various indicators of lung function in the intervention group were better than those in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:Acupoint application combined with pulmonary rehabilitation can promote airway clearance,al-leviate clinical symptoms,and promote patient recovery in COPD patients.
