Effects of Music Dancing Combined with Group Counseling Intervention on Rehabilitation Patients with Schizophrenia
Objective:To explore the effects of music dancing combined with group counseling intervention on patients with schizophre-nia during rehabilitation.Methods:A total of 134 patients with schizophrenia admitted from January 1,2020 to December 31,2021 were randomly divided into control group and combination group,with 67 patients in each group.All patients were given routine psychiatric nurs-ing.On this basis,the control group was given group counseling intervention,and the combined group was given music dancing combined with group counseling intervention.All patients were continuously intervened for 6 months.Psychiatric symptoms[Positive and Negative Symptom Scale(PANSS)],depressive symptoms[Calgary Depression Scale for Schizophrenia(CDSS-C)],self-esteem status[Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale(SES)],Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC)],social function[Scale of Social Function Deficit for Mental Disorders(SSFD-MD)]and quality of life[Schizophrenia Quality of Life Scale(SQLS)]were compared between the two groups before and after intervention.Results:After intervention,the PANSS,CDSS-C,SSFD-MD,and SQLS scores of both groups were lower than those before intervention(P<0.05),and the combined group has lower scores than those of the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the RSES and CD-RISC scores of both groups were higher than those before intervention(P<0.05),and the combined group has higher scores than those of the control group(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion:Music dancing combined with group counseling intervention can effectively re-lieve the psychiatric symptoms of patients with convalescent schizophrenia,improve the depression and self-esteem status,and enhance the psychological resilience,social function and quality of life.
