Application of Enhanced Recovery after Surgery Nursing Concept in Laparoscopic Assisted Radical Anus-retained Operation with Low Rectal Cancer
Objective:To investigate the effect of enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS)nursing concept in laparoscopic assisted radi-cal anus-retained operation with low rectal cancer. Methods:A total of 35 patients with low rectal cancer who were hospitalized from January 1,2021 to February 28,2022 were selected as the control group, and routine perioperative care was given.Additional 35 patients with low rectal cancer who were hospitalized from March 1,2022 to April 30,2023 were selected as the observation group and received ERAS nurs-ing intervention nursing. All patients underwent laparoscopic assisted radical anus-retained operation with low rectal cancer. The time of first postoperative exhaust, time of first postoperative defecation, time of postoperative dietary recovery, average hospital stay, and incidence of complications were compared between two groups. Results:The observation group had shorter postoperative first exhaust time, first defe-cation time, postoperative dietary recovery time, and average hospital stay time compared to those of the control group(P<0.05).The inci-dence of complications in the observation group was low with that in the control group, but there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The implementation of ERAS nursing model for patients undergoing laparoscopic assisted radical anus-retained operation with low rectal cancer can promote postoperative recovery.
