Effect of Health Education Combined with Self-supervision Management Based on Planned Behavior Theory in Patients with Gestational Diabe-tes Mellitus
Objective:To explore the effect of health education combined with self-supervision management based on planned behavior theory in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods:A total of 68 GDM patients admitted from January 1 to December 31,2022 were randomly divided into observation group(received health education combined with self-monitoring management based on planned behavior theory)and control group(received conventional nursing intervention),with 34 cases in each group. The changes in blood glucose control level,self-management behavior, and psychological resilience were compared between the two groups before and after intervention. The cesarean section rates, adverse maternal and infant outcomes, and satisfaction with nursing work were compared between two groups. Results:After intervention, the levels of fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose, and glycated hemoglobin in both groups decreased compared to before intervention(P<0.05),and the observation group has lower levels than the control group(P<0.05).After the intervention, the scores of the resilience scale and the self-management ability scale of GDM in both groups were higher than those be-fore intervention(P<0.05),and the observation group has higher scores than the control group(P<0.05).The cesarean section rate and incidence of adverse maternal and infant outcomes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The satis-faction scores of the observation group on various nursing work were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Health education combined with self-monitoring management based on planned behavior theory can enhance the self-management ability and psy-chological resilience of GDM patients, strengthen the effect of blood glucose regulation, reduce the risk of cesarean section rate and adverse maternal and infant outcomes, and increase patient satisfaction with nursing work.
