Effects of Narrative Video Combined with Feedback Method Health Education on Postoperative Neurological Function Recovery and Self-effica-cy in Patients with Acute Cerebral Infarction
Objective:To observe the effects of narrative video combined with feedback method health education on postoperative neuro-logical function recovery and self-efficacy in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods:A total of 82 patients with acute cerebral in-farction admitted from January 1,2019 to August 31,2022 were randomly divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table method, with 41 cases in each group. The control group received routine care, while the observation group received narrative video combined with feedback method health education on the basis of the control group. The differences in self-efficacy using Stroke Self-efficacy Questionnaire(SSEQ)before nursing and before discharge, neurological function using National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NHISS)before nursing, before discharge and 1-month follow-up,ability of daily living using Barthel index(BI)were compared between the two groups. Results:Before discharge, the SSEQ scores of each dimension and total score in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After 1 month of follow-up,the NHISS score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05),while the BI score was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Narrative video combined with feedback method health education has positive significance on enhancing the self-efficacy,promoting the recovery of neurological function, and restoring the ability of daily living of patients with acute cerebral infarction.
