Effect of Dietary Nursing Combined with Psychological Intervention on Patients with Nasopharyngeal Cancer Treated with Radiotherapy
Objective:To explore the effect of dietary nursing combined with psychological intervention on patients with nasopharyngeal cancer treated with radiotherapy. Methods:A total of 80 patients with nasopharyngeal cancer treated with radiotherapy from October 1,2022 to April 30,2023 were selected as the research objects, and randomly divided into the study group and the control group, with 40 cases in each group. The patients in control group were given routine nursing care, and the research group was given dietary nursing care combined with psychological intervention. The levels of Hb,ALB and PA were compared between the two groups before and after radiotherapy. The awareness rate of health knowledge and the scores of HAMA,HAMD,PFS,ESCA,SF-36 and the incidence of adverse events were com-pared between the two groups before and after intervention. Results:After intervention, the levels of Hb,ALB and PA in the two groups were lower than those before radiotherapy(P<0.05),and those in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.01).The health awareness rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the incidence of adverse events was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).HAMA,HAMD and PFS scores in two groups were lower after intervention than those before intervention(P<0.05),and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.01).After intervention, the ESCA and SF-36 scores of the two groups were higher than those before intervention(P<0.05),and the scores in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:In the treatment of radiotherapy, the dietary nursing combined with psychological in-tervention can improve blood nutrition indexes and self-care ability of the patients with nasopharyngeal cancer, alleviate negative emotions and cancer-related fatigue, improve their health knowledge awareness and quality of life, and reduce the occurrence of adverse events.
