Effect of Psychosomatic Nursing of Complementary and Alternative Medicine on Pain Degree and Quality of Life of Patients with Cholecystolith-iasis after Laparoscopic Surgery
Objective:To investigate the effect of psychosomatic nursing by complementary and alternative medicine on postoperative pain and quality of life of patients with cholelithiasis after laparoscopic surgery.Methods:100 patients with cholelithiasis who received treat-ment from March 1,2019 to March 1,2022 were selected as the research subjects and divided into the control group and the research group by random number table method, with 50 patients in each group. The patients in both groups received laparoscopic cholecystectomy, and the routine postoperative pain care was taken in the control group, while the psychosomatic nursing by complementary and alternative medicine was applied in the research group. The Houstion pain out come instrument(HPOI),Pittsburgh sleep quality Index(PSQI)and WHO Qual-ity of Life-100(WHOQOL-100)were compared between the two groups the next day after surgery and the day before discharge. Results:The scores of HPOI and WHOQOL-100 in the two groups were higher on the day before discharge than those the next day after surgery(P<0.05),the scores were higher in the research group than the control group(P<0.05),the PSQI scores in both groups were lower on the day before discharge than the next day after surgery(P<0.05),and the research group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).Con-clusion:The psychosomatic nursing of complementary and alternative medicine, applied to patients with laparoscopic surgery, can effectively alleviate postoperative pain, improve patients' satisfaction with pain control and sleep quality, and thus improve quality of life.
