Current Status of Clinical Decision-making Ability of Nurses Engaged in Blood Purification and Analysis of Influencing Factors in Shandong Province
Objective:To investigate the current status of clinical decision-making ability of nurses engaged in blood purification in Shandong and to analyze its influencing factors,in order to provide a scientific basis for the improvement of the ability of the nurses.Meth-ods:A total of 651 nurses engaged in blood purification were selected as the research objects.The general information questionnaire,nurs-ing clinical decision-making scale and professional competency questionnaire of the nurses engaged in blood purification were used as tes-ting and evaluation tools to conduct a survey and make single factor and Spearman correlation analysis to describe the current status of clin-ical decision-making ability of the nurses so as to obtain the influencing factors.Results:The total score of clinical decision-making ability of the nurses was 122 points(116,130),which was above moderate level.The total score of professional competency of the nurses was 90 points(66,115),above moderate level.The main influencing factors included gender,education level,years of working,professional title,labor relations,position and self-perception of equality of nurse-patient relationship.The total score and dimensions of the nurses' compe-tency were positively correlated with the total score and dimensions of clinical decision-making ability(P<0.05).Conclusion:In order to improve the clinical decision-making ability of nurses engaged in blood purification,nursing managers and nurses themselves should strengthen the cultivation of professional competence so as to improve the clinical decision-making ability,besides concerning about upgra-ding their education level,professional title and creating a good nurse-patient relationship.
