Effect of Multidisciplinary Collaborative Nursing on Esophageal Cancer Patients Undergoing Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy
Objective:To explore the effect of multidisciplinary collaborative nursing on esophageal cancer patients treated with radio-therapy and chemotherapy. Methods:A total of 67 patients with esophageal cancer receiving radiotherapy and chemotherapy from January 1,2022 to March 31,2023 were selected and randomly divided into control group(33 cases)and observation group(34 cases). The control group was given routine nursing care, and the observation group was provided multidisciplinary collaborative nursing. The intervention las-ted one month in both groups. The psychological state(SAS,SDS),coping style(MCMQ),level of hope(HHI),self-care ability(ESCA),quality of life(EORTC QLQ-C30)and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups before and after intervention. Results:The SAS and SDS scores, avoidance and yield scores of the two groups were lower after intervention than those before intervention(P<0.05),and the scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.01).After nursing intervention, the scores of ES-CA,HHI and EORTC QLQ-C30 in the two groups were higher than those before nursing intervention(P<0.05),and the scores in the ob-servation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.01).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Multidisciplinary collaborative nursing can improve the coping style of esophageal cancer patients with radiotherapy and chemotherapy, improve their self-care ability and level of hope, relieve negative emotions and improve the quality of life and nursing satisfaction as well.
