Application of Foreseeable Nursing based on KAP Theory in Cataract Patients with Intraocular Lens Implantation
Objective:To explore the application effect of foreseeable nursing based on knowledge-attitude-practice(KAP)theory on cat-aract patients with intraocular lens implantation. Methods:A total of 120 cataract patients who received intraocular lens implantation from March 1,2020 to December 1,2021 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group according to the random num-ber table method, with 60 cases in each group. The routine nursing care was used in the control group, and the foreseeable nursing based on KAP theory was additionally conducted in the observation group. The incidence of postoperative complications, visual recovery,psychologi-cal state using Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS),sleep quality using Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:The incidence of postoperative complications in the obser-vation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The visual acuity of the observation group was better than that of the con-trol group in one week, one month and 3 months after operation(P<0.05).After one week and one month, the SAS,SDS and PSQI scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The foreseeable nursing based on KAP theory can effectively reduce the incidence of complications after intraocular lens implantation in cataract patients, promote visual recovery, improve mental state and sleep quality and nursing satisfaction as well.
