Effect of Comprehensive Evaluation by Full-time Nurses on Standardized Treatment of Cancer Pain
Objective:To explore the effect of comprehensive evaluation by full-time nurses specialized in pain care on standardized treatment of cancer pain. Methods:A total of 84 cancer patients admitted from January 1,2021 to January 31,2022 were selected as the re-search objects. They were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 42 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing care, and the observation group was provided additional comprehensive evaluation by full time nurses. The pain degree(VAS),psychological state(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS),quality of life(FACT-G)and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared before intervention and one month after intervention. Results:After one month of inter-vention,the VAS scores were lower than those before intervention of the two groups(P<0.01),and the VAS scores of the observation group were lower than the control group(P<0.01).After one month of intervention, the scores of SDS,SAS and FACT-G of the two groups were better than those before intervention(P<0.05),and the scores of the observation group were better than those of the control group(P<0.01).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The comprehen-sive evaluation by full-time nurses specialized in pain care is effective in the standardized treatment of cancer pain, which can reduce the pain of patients, improve the psychological state, thereby improving the quality of life and nursing satisfaction.
